September -Let’s Do This!

You know you’ve been busy when you pull out your notebook to look over what happened in August and there is

Wow, really?!?!

I guess we left off in July, when I said that I was ready to start over. Unfortunately I didn’t make much progress with that bodybuilding workout. I did it for a few days but then I just sort of stopped. Running has my heart right now and I need to remember that it’s ok to not DO ALL THE THINGS.

My August first stats were:

Waist: 194.4
Thighs 26.5″
Waist: 37″

They’re exactly the same. Not fabulous, but I also had a pretty low mileage month too (68.8 miles), so I can’t be upset with remaining the same.

School started on the 24th and that’s actually been good for my mindset. Getting into a routine is key for my success.

Speaking of routine, I definitely need to stick to a strict schedule if I’m going to even get close to accomplishing my 2015 mile goal this year. Mathematically I need to run 295+ miles each month for the next four months. I know, it’s a ridiculously lofty goal, but I’m going to give it a try. To give myself some extra accountability I’ve signed up for a crazy as hell running challenge- The Traveling Man with Old Guy Running . I’m counting on that community and y’all to help me stay motivated.
It’s a lot of mileage no doubt, and the schedule looks a bit like this:

Total Monthly Miles: 300
Total Weekly Miles: 75
Day One: 10 miles
Day Two: 11 miles
Day Three: 12 miles
Day Four: 13 miles
Day Five: 14 miles
Day Seven: 15 miles

I’ve also got some fun things coming up that I’ll expand on in a few days, but there will be race giveaways, fundraisers, discounts and more!  I hope you’ll subscribe so you don’t miss any of the fun!

What do you have planned for this month? Need some accountability?

Let’s rock this September TOGETHER!!!

Sounds like you are doing great! Don’t be hard on yourself if you need time to do something else, I think that variety is good. It makes so exercise is not boring!
