I don’t know about y’all but going back to work after vacation is HARD. I feel like it’s hard to get up in the morning, hard to get moving and hard remembering to plan ahead. Luckily I had #PostGoodness Breakfast Bowls to save the day!
Flying out the door on the verge of being late I popped the perfectly portable little bowl into my purse and hit the road running. When I was finally able to catch my breath, I was able to slip away from my desk and toss this little gem into the microwave.I won’t lie, I wasn’t convinced that a ‘savory’ oatmeal could possibly taste good, but I was oh so wrong! It was surprisingly tasty and with 12 grams of protein crammed into that itty bitty bowl, I was SOLD! Oats is probably one of the ONLY grains you’ll find in my diet these days. Science varies but if you’re #teamWholeGrain each bowl contains at least 26grams of whole grains and 8grams of protein! I struggle with getting enough protein so this is a great option for me to boost my intake!I love that the steel cut oats held their texture and it wasn’t just a bowl of mush!
Knowing how the morning would go I tossed another package into my purse for lunch today. This was a flavor combo I was more accustomed to seeing. Apples with Cinnamon- and this one with 8 grams of protein! I can feel good about nourishment on the run!
